Telling a Story
Opia House along with the Japanese Arts Network (JA-NE) and the Exposure Project
brought three distinct room experiences to life to help summit attendees imagine different futures for AI.
Opia House created the “Humanitas School”, imagine a future where AI is our children’s main source of learning- what if there were a school to help our kids learn and keep a hold of past traditions like farming, working with their hands, and making real human connection without the help of technology.
We created an immersive experience for
attendees to “tour” the school and experience the “graduation ceremony, the Nest”
Make a Promise
To pass under the nest is a sacred tradition for graduates who willingly participate. They
recite the Vow of Humanitas and walk under the blessings of those who have contributed
to the nest. While anyone can contribute to the nest, only our graduates may pass through
it.

The Vow of Humanitas:
I am me and I am all.
I am my parents and my siblings
I am the friend and the rival
I am the stranger and the lover.
We will lead the way
Through the dark woods
With love as our light and empathy as our compass
Through the dark woods
We are the guide
We are the ones we are waiting for.
